Wings of Change

Sold

After 18 long, drab, months of isolation and loss, life seemed to finally brighten up when vaccination programmes started to take a hold.  Travel restrictions decreased, distancing rules relaxed, schools reopened… A fresh breeze seemed to be in the air.

I marked this time of hope with an airy shape floating over a riot of colours, bright and strong, and still with a hint of darkness and unrest.

Polyester organza, canvas, tissue paper, matte medium, thread and wooden frame. H: 65cm; W: 50 cm
