In 2022 The Independent international commission of inquiry on Ukraine reports the use of sexual violence, including mass rape, as a weapon of war.  The victims of sexual assault range from 4 to over 80 years old. Russian tanks display a capital z -  a symbol for ‘victory’ according to some sources.

But rape as a weapon, a means of domination, is ubiquitous.  In war and in peace, in our homes, our schools, our organisations and in our religious and political institutions. Women are violated and women are disappeared.
